The City Gate Hotel is excellently located just a few minutes walk from the cathedral and all the main tourist attractions of the compact and historic city of Exeter. A fine Georgian building, the hotel incorporates some of the ancient city wall into its cellar - hence its name, as it is on the site of one of the old gates into Exeter.
